What: Nutrition Seminar
Why: Spend time learning about why we recommend why we eat the way we do. This is Riptide CrossFit’s first nutrition seminar and you can look forward to learning about why we say “just eat real food.” Learn about the role of macro-nutrients in the body and how to monitor if your levels may be off. We will talk about chronic inflammation, why the Standard American Diet (SAD) may be causing you issues and what you can do about it.
We will discuss zone vs paleo, why other diet prescriptions may work and why they may be missing some crucial parts.

This talk will be similar to the nutrition talk that we do in the On Ramp program but will be more in depth since we will be dedicating a full hour to just nutrition.
We will also introduce the Just Eat Real Food Challenge that will start in January. By attending this session you will be able to make more informed decisions and there will be plenty of time for Q&A.
